DALLAS, TX – July 11, 2025 – A Bunch of Short Guys in partnership with University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) are proud to announce the return of Industry Giants on October 4th, 2025. Industry Giants, the premiere Texas animation, game development, and computer graphics event produced by non-profit organization A Bunch of Short Guys, will be performing Portfolio Reviews. Various artists including acclaimed animator, director, and visual artist Don Dixon will be performing portfolio reviews at this year’s conference, held in Richardson, TX.

Don Dixon brings over two decades of experience in fine arts, animation, and motion graphics, having contributed to major animated feature films such as The Book of Life, Free Birds, Rock Dog, Sherlock Gnomes, UglyDolls, Scoob!, and Back to the Outback. Currently, Dixon applies his creative vision at Honeycutt, Inc.

Portfolio review slots are limited and available exclusively to Junior and Senior students currently enrolled in an animation program. Attendees can sign up for one 10-minute time slot upon checkout. Each review will typically include two industry experts, providing invaluable professional feedback. Participants are required to bring their own laptops with their portfolios prepared, as internet access cannot be guaranteed.
